Rain Policy: In the event of rain, we seldom cancel a performance prior to 9:00 p.m. The show may be performed during a light rain; however, heavy rain or lightning may force us to hold up the performance for up to one half hour before cancelling. If the show is cancelled, tickets for a cancelled performance may be exchanged for rain checks that can be used for any other "Horn in the West" performance. Rain Insurance is available at the time of ticket purchase for $3.00 per ticket. This insurance entitles the patron to a full refund of the ticket price in the event that management cancels the performance. Refunds are only given if rain insurance has been purchased. If patrons leave of their own volition and the show is not cancelled, no refund will be given. Insured tickets from cancelled shows must be mailed to Horn in the West, P. O. Box 295, Boone, NC 28607 for refunds.
