"Bobbin Boy" Couple Visit the Museum
Alan and Milissa Dewey, aka "Bobbin Boy", are a husband and wife team based in Asheville, North Carolina. Alan is a master woodturner from Yorkshire and London, England and also repairs and restores textile equipment. Milissa is a PhD educated historian, a journeyman woodturner, and a weaving and spinning specialist. They are internationally known professionals in the textile world and visited Hickory Ridge Museum for a day of demonstrations, fun stories, equipment repairing, and recommendations. We are thrilled to have hosted them and were very happy with the turn-out, even on a rainy day!
Our Publicity Quartets Represent the Horn!

They have appeared at the wonderful Daniel Boone Inn, Shoppes on the Parkway, and Downtown Blowing Rock. Watch for them in the Blowing Rock 4th of July parade on July 7th.
