2020 SAHA Update

Just like many non-profits, museums, and theatre companies, Southern Appalachian Historical Association’s Horn in the West Outdoor Drama and Hickory Ridge History Museum were affected by Covid-19. The SAHA Board of Directors had to make the heart-breaking decision to postpone the Horn’s 2020 season to 2021. This would have been its 69th continuous season.

Fortunately, Hickory Ridge was, and is, able to stay open by limiting the number of people in its tours, using masks, and social distancing. The museum has held special programs and events, such as the High Country Rendezvous and the celebration of the 240th anniversary of the Battle of Kings Mountain. Our museum will stay open to November 14th, depending on the weather. Come visit our amazing 18th & 19th century cabins. You may also help by becoming a SAHA member. Go HERE.
