Royal Governor William Tryon has a few things to say to the Backcountry Citizens of Carolina.

In this special living history presentation, Taylor Osborne portrays the notorious Royal Governor as he addresses the public about the recent Regulator Movement and the Battle at Alamance Creek. It is 1771, and the Crown's patience with the Backcountry has run out.

Presentations at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the grounds of Hickory Ridge History Museum. Museum guided tours are available throughout the afternoon. Horn in the West performs at 7:30 PM in the Daniel Boone Amphitheater next door. Make it a full evening of Revolutionary War history!
